Outreach

CVMF strives to reach out to the many diverse groups in our community. Through community involvement, CVMF brings veterinary care and education to the general public through its innovative programs. Below is an excerpt from one of our recent community outreach events.

"An exhibit called Hope for Pets was held at the John Jellico Gallery at the Art Institute of Colorado. This unique gallery show pared the Art Institute of Colorado photography alumni with CVMF clients ande their pets. Adorable and candid shots of pets and their owners were taken by Art Institute alumni at the Harrison memorial Animal Hospital and in the homes of the HOPE Program participants. The exhibit also raised awareness about CVMF programs including the HOPE Program, a new program that serves the basic health needs of pets belonging to home-bound seniors who are living on fixed incomes with minimal family or outside support. The Pets for Hope exhibit ran from November 15 through December 26, 2008."
